We do not trade against you.  If we have a hypothetical open order for a stock pick in our newsletter or stock alerts we do not buy or sell this security.  Period.  Some less reputable newsletters are using the size of their customer base to 'move the market' and take advantage personally with their stock picks.  First of all, this is illegal.  Second, it is mostly applicable in smaller less liquid securities, which we do not cover in our newsletter.  It is highly unlikely that the articles in our newsletter about our stock picks could ever move the market, but our rules are meant to prevent any appearance of the above.
