Largest IPO in History -- 3/19/2008

stock picksAT&T move over.  The Visa IPO is now the largest IPO in history.  The stock priced at $44/share and has now started trading on the NYSE under the symbol V.

Shares have rocketed up, as high as $69.00 as of 11:30 EST.  This is great for a stock market which has seen some major instability over the past few months.  It is also a great sign in the power of our economy when a financial transaction company can IPO in this environment and do so well.  IPOs have a tendancy to price correct over the first few weeks of trading, so be very careful buying any shares right now.
